This weekend team ELLE were out in force at The Winter Run 2015, as we ran through the streets of London with Olympian and 2014 Sports Personality of the Year finalist Jo Pavey.

A 10k with a difference it saw almost 15,000 people (70 percent of whom were women) take to the streets of central London. Runners took in the landmark sights of Big Ben, The London Eye, Tower Bridge and St Paul's Cathedral while snow machines blew over the course (and the runners). Signs nearing the end told runners to 'chill out' (oh, we do love a pun) while Polar Bears were at the finish line giving out free hugs (much-needed, it was as the name would suggest cold on the morning) and celebratory high-fives.

Vita Coco was handed out at the finish, along with a medal that is quite possibly the prettiest we have ever received.

Fancy running it next year? We don't blame you. For one week only you can buy preview tickets at a special price for next year's Winter Run. Get in there quick because these early bird tickets are only available until they sell out! Before the ballot is re-opened again later this year.
