Tennis Tuesdays

What: In partnership with Nike, LTA Tennis Tuesdays offers women a chance to improve their swing and learn a mixture of skills each week. Professional coaches will pair you up with other women who are at your level so that you can compete, without the added pressure of having to keep up with a serve that's three times as fast as yours. This is perfect for casual players looking to get back into the game in an easy-going, informal environment. 

Where: All over London and Manchester

How much: £5 to £10 a session

Best Tennis

What: Best Tennis offers a customised experience. Choose from a private one-on-one for the more serious player looking to unleash her inner Serena, or set up a group session if you just want to have a more social experience.

Where: Indoor and outdoor courts are situated in and around London, 

How much: £36 per hour for private one-on-ones or book a court for £7.50 per hour

Cardio Tennis

What: If you’re up for an intense cardio workout, look no further than Cardio Tennis. It’s the ultimate calorie-burning activity that combines warm ups, drills, games and cool-downs. It gives you the fun of the game, with the well-rounded intensity of a personal trainer's workout.

Where: You’ll find courts in King George’s Park, Tooting Bec Common and Wandsworth Common

Great British Tennis Weekend

What: In a campaign to get more people involved in the sport, Great British Tennis Weekend has partnered with clubs, schools and other community venues to open up local courts for free tennis sessions. The next weekend takes place on August 1 and 2.
