It's January, so we're all on a gym-kick right? Then it's National Breakfast Week (from 24th Jan) so naturally we want to let exercise and eating collide in the most fortuitous way possible and work out a breakfast that works with your work out. 

Virgin Active and Soulmatefood have done just that and created this breakfast recipe and exercise combo that will burn fat. (Plus its pretty delicious). Happy breakfast week

Super Green Chia Bread with Smoked Salmon

For The Bread:

340g Chia Nut Bread Mix 

120g Baby Spinach Chopped 

300g Whole Liquid Egg 

24g Red Wine Vinegar 

20g Vegetable Oil 

190g Courgette Grated

To make chia bread, mix ingredients together and place in a lined loaf tin. Cook at 160c for 50 mins. We recommend doing this the evening before your workout, giving you plenty of time in the morning

For the Lemon, Honey & Basil Cottage Cheese:

30g Cottage Cheese

2g Basil Chopped 

5g Honey 

2g Lemon Zest 

To make the dip, mix together all of the ingredients and place in 2oz dip pot. Garnish with sliced smoked salmon and lemon wedges

800 meter sprint on treadmill or wood way curve

15 kettle bell swings, 15 press ups, 15 burpees

600 meter sprint on treadmill or wood way curve   

10 kettle bell swings, 10 press ups, 10 burpees

400 meter sprint on treadmill or wood way curve

5 kettle bell swings, 5 press ups, 5 burpees
