Coco Face is a coconut drink brand with a difference. Coconut water is the trend right now in health drinks with a new brand popping up pretty much every week (we noticed Pret are now in on the act). But where the bottles and cartons contain pasteurized coconut water, the ones by Coco Face are fresh from the tree.

The founders, Dash and Charlie, import young coconuts from Thailand. They come, other than a shave (so they look neat and are easy to transport), as they are - so you're getting all the nutrients and goodness as if you were sat on a beach in Thailand drinking the stuff. Coconut water is naturally low in calories and contains high levels of potassium, an electrolyte/mineral that is needed by the body (it helps nerves and muscles communicate) as well as hydrating.

Aside from the water, you can use the flesh in smoothies (to 'flesh' them out... sorry). The coconuts cost £3.50 (RRP) and are available fromWhole Foods and Planet Organic. You can also get home delivery if you order direct from the Coco Face website and the founders are busy working on a subscription service so you will never be without fresh coconuts in your fridge.

Not only that but Coco Face has a stall on Oxford Street (pictured, keep your eyes peeled for it opposite Debenhams) and will be popping up at the following festivals this summer...

FEAST 4 - 7 July - Brick Lane, London

Secret Garden Party 25- 28 July
