There’s only three days to go until #WeOwnTheNight (little shriek of excitement/alarm) and today the ELLE Running Club took to the streets for our final training run ahead of the big 10k.

We ran 5k around Regent’s Park to the soundtrack of Pharell’s Happy and Beyoncé’s Run The World (Girls) joined by Nike Master Trainer Joslyn Thompson and actress, screenwriter and director Bonnie Wright (best known for playing Ginny Weasley in Harry Potter).

There was rain, discussion of epic running highs and lows, and much talk of the gin we will be drinking post-race to celebrate our achievement.

Like lots of the ELLE Team, Saturday’s race will be Bonnie’s first 10k, the furthest she has ever run: ‘I’m hoping the adrenaline will carry me across the finish line.’

Bonnie's ready to 'own it', are you?

#WeOwnTheNight registration closes at midnight tonight, so make sure you sign up now to secure your place on the start line with 9999 other women and a few honourary males (Henry Holland and Alex Monroe).
