Geneva Marathon for Unicef

Set your watches, we’re pushing our PBs

We say Switzerland you think chocolate, right? Well, this weekend (3rd - 4th of May) Geneva becomes the home of a far healthier endeavour as the banks of the city’s lake are transformed into a racetrack for the Geneva Marathon.

Situated at the foot of the Swiss Alps, the pretty town threatens to slow runners down with its mesmerising Alpine views. Picture yourself sprinting from the historic old town through the lush green countryside as the floral banks that line the impressive Pont du Mont Blanc melt into one big colourful blur as you whizz past. Now, imagine the magnificent Jet d’Eau (the world's tallest water fountain) whooshing into view just as you make the final push towards the finish line.
