Workout Wednesday: Fat Buddha Yoga

Workout Wednesday: Fat Buddha Yoga

The Concept: If you like a yoga class filled with panpipes and hippie-dippy chanting, Fat Buddha Yoga is not for you. The super-cool DJ and yoga junkie Jessica Skye launched the class in April 2013 to make yoga more accessible, edgy and fun. Popping up at cool locations like Dalston Roof Park, The Queen of Hoxton’s rooftop teepee and the Google campus, Jessica down-dogs to her own tailor-made mixes. We tried it as part of a NIKE We Own the Night pop up on Shoreditch House rooftop. Forget freaky-deaky wind chimes and expect a mix of club lighting, candles, disco balls, great beats, a little sweat and a heap load of zen that lasts all day.
