It started with the 5k. Before Nikes epic Flyknit Experience (the route took us through the Southbank's graffiti filled tunnels as we ran, waving glow sticks, to a soundtrack of live beatboxers) Team ELLE thought running in the park was good.
And we still do appreciate the park - despite stiff competition - but since ELLEs running journey with Nike began back in January the team have had the pleasure of running in some progressively more extraordinary situations.
The rave vibe at the 5k was followed by ELLE and Nikes 10k, We Own the Night, which felt like a festival. Sure, there was a grueling hour of running around Victoria Park to be done before you could think about raiding the food trucks and lying on a giant bean bag while Radio 1 DJ Gemma Cairney took charge of the decks but it was awesome. Over 4000 women joined us and agreed.
The most recent Nike running experience was set in Stockholm. A run around the city centre was followed by a preview of some of Nikes latest kit. Fact: There is no better way to shake off aeroplane fatigue and get to know a new city in 30 minutes than by running round it.
