In winter not only do you have to put up with miserable weather but also freezing winds and central heating can play havoc with your skin. A schizophrenic complexion is not uncommon, but with spring just around the corner a blemish-free, dewy glow is what you really need! So to help, we put six skin brightening creams to the test to find out if they could sort out our unruly complexions in time for the summer, here's the results...

For me this is not only a magic potion but a miracle one. Silky and easily absorbed this light cream gave my skin an instant boost creating that elusive dewy glow in just one application. It has a subtle-enough-for-day pearly glow which gives the skin a refreshed look like you've just had a facial. For those lucky enough to have porcelain skin you will be able to wear this alone for a subtle boost, however for blemished complexions like my own this is a perfect base to wear under foundation - it acts as an all-in-one brightener and primer. The potion made my foundation last longer and kept my skin looking refreshed all day. It is now officially part of my everyday morning routine and I wouldn't be without it!
