Hot on the heels of Ciaté appointing frequent front row-er Olivia Palermo as Creative Director, essie has appointed its own fashion mind. The iconic nail brand has annouced fashion and accessories as its Global Color Designer.
Essie and Minkoff started a working relationship back in 2012 when the nail brand worked with the designer to create nail looks at New York Fashion Week and Minkoff will bring a fashion eye to essie's future colour direction.
'It is an incredible honour to bring together two fashion authorities to create the next generation of must-have nail collections... Rebecca exudes passion and she lives and breathes color – so does essie,' said Carolyn Holba, Worldwide General Manager of essie.
Rebecca and the essie team have worked together to create the Spring 2015 Flowerista collection, out March. 'I have always had a lifelong passion for vibrant nail color and nail art – they are the perfect accessory and offer every woman another unique way to express herself.' said Minkoff.
Founder Essie Weingarten remains as a consultant.
