‘With your hair in a ponytail, rather than just tying a ribbon around it, sew ribbons into your hair to make it a part of it. Take a pin and push it through the end of the ribbon to make it easier. You can even take ribbons off your clothes to make sure you have an exact match. Sew it from the top of your ear and tie knots in sections to play with the texture.’
