Applying Dark Lipstick
Apply your lipstick with a square-headed lip brush. Once you have applied your first layer take a tissue and separate the ‘plys’. Use one thin ply and blot the lip colour. Dust loose powder over the tissue, remove the tissue and re-apply. Do this up to three times for a luscious long-lasting lip colour. Finally use your lipliner to frame the lip colour and stop it bleeding. -

After applying foundation, brush transparent loose powder across your forehead, the sides of your nose, and chin. Keep your cheeks, temples, and nose powder-free to give the illusion of perfectly natural matte skin. -

Backcombing
Always hold hair taught when teasing hair, and use a comb to backcomb from the roots working towards the ends. This should stop your hair from tangling - after teasing you should always be able to easily brush it out. -

Opt for gold eyeshadow if you’re wearing warmer tones and silver eyeshadow if you’re wearing cooler ones. For day, keep it subtle with a sheen that catches the light rather than a block of colour. For evening, mix gold powder with a touch of water to intensify the effect. -

Try applying a little hair serum onto bronzed legs and arms - you’ll find it a lot less greasy than body oil and it makes skin look shiny and feel wonderfully smooth, plus it doesn’t come off on your dress or go into the creases on the backs of your knees. -
