When we first heard that Gwen Stefani was teaming up with OPI for a limited edition collection of nail lacquers, we couldnt contain our excitement.

The collaboration, which launches in January, was inspired by the punk theme at this years Met Ball and influenced by Gwens signature rock-chick style. The shade Over & Over A-Gwen pays homage to the singers trademark bold red lipstick, and comes in a set with an array of black Swarovski crystals and silver, gold and pewter studs.
Were always partial to a new nail finish and two of the new shades shimmery champagne Love.Angel.Music.Baby and rich black 4 In The Morning fit the bill with their semi-matte satin finish. The chromatic Push and Shove and its partner in crime, the basecoat Lay Down That Base, together create an eye-catching mirror finish. The collection also includes two new shades of OPIs luxurious crème gloss hot pink Hey Baby and deep blackberry I Sing in Colour along with In True Stefani Fashion, a smattering of holographic silver glitter.
'Known for her trademark red lips, bold eye make-up and nail art, Gwen uses beauty to accessorise her style,' said OPIs Executive VP and Artistic Director Suzi Weiss-Fischmann. 'OPI wanted to create a collection as dramatic, diverse and glamorous as its namesake. With crème and glitter hues, new satin matte texture, a mirrored chrome and Swarovski elements, Gwen Stefani by OPI presents the latest in pigments and finishes, while combining elements of haute couture and street fashion.'
