It all started with a hat. Taking Henry Holland’s SS13 raffia headgear of choice, Adam Reed and Paul Percival created soft, loose hat hair with a dry, fluffy texture.

To a backstage beat of Rise Up by The Skints, they prepped hair with Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray before running the Babyliss Curling Wand down the mid-lengths and ends for a gentle ‘kick’ that was one part Courtney Love, the other part a nineties Versace campaign.

The spray-dyed grips coloured-matched to the metallic purple and blue pieces from the collection provided the perfect, homemade accessory when pinned around the head, peeping out just below the brim of the hat.

Nail queen Sophy Robson got equally creative with tips that had just come back from a nineties rave. Topping a base coat of Leighton Denny’s neon pink All About Me, she added splodges of yellow, blue and a dark fuchsia to seal the deal on a nail that knows exactly how to party.
