Lisa Eldridge worked her make-up magic at the Anna Karenina premiere last night by ensuring the naturally beautiful Keira look even more stunning than usual. Of the look Lisa said, 'To compliment Keiras beautiful Chanel dress, I wanted to create a soft, pale and pretty make-up that had a romantic feel but was careful to add strength around the eyes so the overall look wasnt washed out against the dress. Above all, the make-up needed to be elegant and flatter Keiras naturally beautiful face.'
To get the look you need to follow these steps - all products are by Chanel:
Start with a flawless base using Perfection Lumière Foundation applied with a brush and buffed into the skin. Next apply Éclat Lumière and Lift Lumière Concealers around your eyes and on the high points of your face to highlight. Lightly dust your face with a little Poudre Universelle Libre - Lisa used this to fix Keira's foundation in place.
Now you need a steady hand to draw a perfect liquid line along your upper lashes using Ecriture De Chanel in Noir, at the outer corner lift and elongate the liner into a small flick. To soften the look use Ombre Essentielle, a powder shadow, in Ebony. Use a mix of Ombres Contraste Duo in GrisSubtil lightly brushed over your lids, then lift the eye with a little pale pink Ombre Essentielle in Liberty at the socket line to blend and soften. Underneath the lower lashes use the Duo again to add some soft smoky definition. A whisper of the shimmery pink Liberty at the inner corner, Stylo Yeux Waterproof in Ebene along the lower waterline and lashings of Inimitable Intense Mascara in Noir will complete the eye look. If you are skilled with false lashes, add some individual ones at the outer corners of the upper lashes.
Keira has amazing brows, fill yours in with a little Le Sourcil De Chanel in Brun for a soft, flattering effect.
Lisa dusted Joues Contraste Powder Blush in Rose Initiale mainly to the apples of Keira's cheeks for a fresh flush of colour.
To get Keira's pout use Le Crayon Lévres in Natural, before applying the beautifully chic lipstick Rouge Allure in Evanescente.
