I am willing spring to arrive. This cold, wet weather is having a disastrous effect on my mental wellbeing and apparently it's causing the decline in species of butterflies, I mean enough is enough. But I digress. To help will on the spring weather I'm championing British heritage skincare brand Green & Spring's collaboration with Bobbin Bicycles. They have come up with the most wondrous limited edition bicycle I have ever set my eyes on.
Now truth be told I'm no cyclist. Since my Cycling Proficiency Test in middle school I have only set bum to saddle for an ill-fated 20k (!) bike ride around the Forest of Dean for a hen do. Every time I stopped peddling I had overwhelming waves of nausea thanks to a lot of cocktails the night before.
But, this bicycle could change that, powder blue and adorned with Green & Spring's signature British bird illustrations and complete with vintage-esque basket I'm quite taken with it. It's the kind of bicycle you can imagine riding through country villages and across meadows. I just need to find those in central London...
