Whether it's an overnight stay at a partner's or a last-minute holiday with the girls, packing your beauty essentials is tricky business.

From eliminating which products you won't be needing (hairspray? Moroccan argan oil? heat defence spray?) to choosing between the straighteners or curling tongs, it's no wonder we end up sat in a ball on the bedroom floor in a panic the night before most holidays.

But, fortunately, Kate Middleton's private hairdresser, Amanda Cook Tucker, has revealed that she too struggles to pack for a trip away with the Duchess.

Ahead of Kate and Prince William's royal tour in Sweden this week, Middleton's hairdresser posted a picture to her private Instagram of what exactly she packs for a four-day trip with the royals.

'Think that's everything! #worktrip #packing,' she captioned the post showcasing various products and tools spread out on a wooden table.

The post went viral on social media among royals style blogs, resulting in Tucker deleting her account.

So, what was in her packing essentials?

*Deep breath*

  • 13 brushes
  • Six combs
  • Three hair tongs
  • Two hairdryers
  • Seven hair products

Lucky for us, People reports the majority of the hair products cost less than £8 and include Elnett's Supreme Hold Hairspray, Charles Worthington's Texturising Spray (similar here) and an Essential Maximum Hold Unperfumed Hairspray.

The post comes a day after it was reported that the 36-year-old royal donated seven inches of her locks to a children's cancer charity last year.

Kate reportedly gave her hair to the Little Princess Trust, a charity which makes wigs for children who have lost their hair through illness, which was sent under a different name.

Prince William and Kate Middleton is currently spendin four days visiting both Sweden and Norway this week, basing themselves in Stockholm and Oslo.
