From ribboned updos, to letting your natural texture own its space, there's a million different ways you can style your hair for that hot date this Valentine's Day, but which one to choose?
Take the lead from Lucy Boynton's embellished dishevelled bob, or go for a slick and sophisticated updo like Lupita's side swept braids or Florence Pugh's wet look quiff.
'A great date night hairstyle is ultimately really soft waves,' says pro hairstylist Zoe Irwin. 'Create a centre or side parting tong in soft waves, and add undone texture by using a texturising spray. I use the ghd tong to create soft kinked waves that aren’t too try hard but are still glossy.'
Whether you're feeling loved up, spending the evening with your gals or staying in to watch the entire second season of 'Sex Education', whatever your V-day vibe, read on for the Valentine's Day hair ideas you need to know about.

Classic Waves
Steve Granitz
These shiny waves on Julia Roberts reference the Old Hollywood type but are a lot less rigid and time-consuming. If your hair is already straight, just wrap a few large chunks around a big curling iron, give the coil a minute to cool, then release and brush through them. Top it off with some shine spray and you're good to go.
