There's (yet again) a new way to dye your hair. It seems we're not content with the simple rainbow look or sand art style and so a new technique has been born.
Known as underlights, this 'safe for work' do is all party underneath, business on top. Stylists pin up the top layers of hair, then bleach and colour the pieces underneath, so when you release the top layer you’re left with subtle pops of colour.
Both strips of dye and ombre work with the look, the only rule is that you have to leave a top-knot worth of hair untouched.
Think of it as secret rainbow hair.
