Blake Lively wore what has to be a record-breaking SEVEN outfits in New York City yesterday for her All I See Is You film press tour.

Naturally, she killed them all. But let's not forget that she also wore SIX hairstyles, too. Lively and her longtime hairstylist Rod Ortega started the day bright and early for the morning show circuit with a half-up style and simple side-braid—then ended the day with perfectly glossy 'Blake Waves' that we've always tried to copy ourselves and have failed miserably.

So how can you create six hairstyles in one day? We spoke with Ortega, who used all T3 hot tools, on how to steal Lively's look from the premiere last night—as well as any secrets he has to make our own hair look more like Lively's every single day.

What was the inspiration for the look?

RO: 'Her Chanel dress was extremely detailed and elegant, I didn't want to do anything too overdone for her hair. After trying some different things, we landed on the classic, 'Blake waves'. Very classic, very simple—just the nice, beautiful, shiny wave.'

Walk us through how to get the look.

RO: 'At the beginning of the press day today, we started with a nice blowout using the T3 Featherweight Luxe 2i Dryer and an Ibiza Hair round brush. This ensured that the hair would maintain its body throughout the entire day and night.

Once it was premiere time, I sectioned the hair starting at the nape of the neck and used the T3 Whirl Convertible to create waves, pinning as I went. I wave the hair the same direction around the whole head- this really gives you that classic 'Blake wave'.

Once all curls were pinned, I sprayed with L'Oreal Elnett hairspray and L'Oreal Nutri-gloss shine mist. After the curls were set, I let the waves down and brushed out with the Ibiza paddle brush for a very effortless look.'

Did you and Blake discuss the look beforehand? What were her thoughts?

RO: 'We didn't really discuss the premiere look beforehand. I saw all of the outfits the morning of the press tour day and we discussed it then. We knew that whatever style we chose, it had to be versatile so the hair would flow through all of the style changes—especially since the premiere look was the sixth hairstyle of the day.'

Why do you think people are so obsessed with Blake's hair?

RO: 'Blake's hair and style has a sense of versatility to it and I think that's what people love so much about it. She takes risks and is always open to exploring different styles and borrowing ideas from different cultures, and history. Anyone can do it, you just have to be open to the exploration.'

How can you keep your hair as long, healthy, and shiny as Blake's hair?

RO: 'There are three things that are key to maintaining long, healthy and shiny hair like Blake's. Invest in good hair products—shampoo, conditioner, hairspray, etc. to maintain the health. Invest in good hair tools that can get the styling job done without overheating or damaging the hair. Finally, see your hairdresser every six weeks—just to get a little shape, trim and dust the ends. This will for sure keep the hair healthy and looking great.'
