The hairstyles backstage at London Fashion Week are always exciting and many session stylists push the boundaries. At Eun Jeongs autumn winter 11 show, stylist Fadi from Lockonego (a salon on Londons Kings Road) created these exquisite up-dos complete with ruched scarf. It stood out from a sea of ponytails (the hottest trend for next season), and is perfect for weddings or summer parties (and you wont need to worry about finding a hat or fascinator). Heres how to get the look at home

Step One:
Tong the hair to give it volume (you can skip this step if it is naturally wavy), ‘it doesn’t need to be perfect, it’s just to give your hairstyle a foundation’ says Fadi.
Top tip: lightly spritz each 3inch section with hairspray before you tong, this will help to set the wave.
