Ice blonde hair (far more poetic-sounding than 'peroxide') is this season's biggest hair colour trend. We spied it on some of the biggest models of the season - Devon Windsor, Sasha Luss and Julia Nobis, at some of the biggest shows - Versace, Emilio Pucci and MaxMara. But, unless you're nearer to blonde on the spectrum of hair shades, this colour takes guts (and a lot of conditioner).
When going for a big hair colour change it's always worth passing the job over to a trained professional, who will be able to find the right ice blonde for you. Yes, while it looks like a blanket of monotoned blonde, there are subtle nuances in the hues of the hair - more ashy/platinum blondes suit people with bluish tones to their skin (often rosy), while honey blonde is better suited to anyone with a yellow or peach tone to skin (often with freckles).
If you don't want to go for an all-over colour, look to Anna Ewers at Versace who shows how ice blonde blended throughout the mid-lengths and ends can liven up a winter complexion.More
