With the catwalk's continued celebration of models' individual quirks, idiosyncrasies and signature styles there was a resurgence of really standout haircuts on the a/w16 runway.
It was the season that cast aside the rulebook, embracing everything and anything that had personality and purpose. As legendary hair stylist, Sam McKnight, said backstage at Burberry, "We're leaving all of the girls' natural hair texture because we want them to look and feel like themselves."
Cue the most wonderfully eclectic mix of styles from corkscrew curls to platinum buzz cuts and dishevelled shags.
