New Texture

Frizzy and flyaway hair doesn't necessarily spell bad hair day. This season hair is all about texture and in particular - contrasting textures. From super-sleek wet looks and soft romantic waves to crimping and flyaway updos, have fun combining them all. On McQueen's catwalk wet look partings came with frizzy bunches or for a more wearable take on the trend look to Versace's effortlessly twisted updo. For a more retro look dig out your crimping irons - seriously - go all out and channel Luella with witch inspired locks. Malcolm Edwards, for L'oreal says 'for more volume and texture, gently back brush each section before using the crimping irons'. Finally for a softer style, crimp the hair, brush it out and pin it up as seen at Peter Som.
