Paris s/s 10 Hair Trends Round-up

“Easy glamour” best summed up the mood at many Paris shows. Chloe girls sported a romantically undone, natural style characterised by a rough centre parting and wispy, dishevelled texture – a perfect partner to an easy, boyish collection. At Stella McCartney hair was left loose and lightly textured while at Giles natural waves were adorned with coloured hairpieces, woven in to add interest. Classic buns are a style staple and were the perfect accessory to strong, elegant silhouettes this season; at Lanvin, fat deconstructed buns reigned while at YSL hair stylist Julien D’Ys used zig zagged headbands to construct a modern shape and add a punky edge to messy updos. At Celine typically feminine ballerina buns were given a masculine twist with square tops and gutsy texture.
