Wet-Look Hair
Wet-look hair can be worn two ways: with a masculine edge or as effortless, beach-inspired hair. It's too early for the latter look, so perfect a sleek do instead and look to Temperley or Stella McCartney for inspiration. A slick, heavily-parted style can look chic and super-luxe for night, while a draped fringe, as seen at Sinha Stanic, will soften the look. To create the glossy, almost soaked hair seen at Lanvin, you need to cover your hair in Just-Out-Of-The-Shower Hair Gel by Kiehl's and smooth it back into a simple up-do (a ponytail or bun). If you want a more subtle version, look to Temperley who did it best. Malcolm Edwards, L'Oreal stylist, says, 'Dampen hair, then douse with a product like Fix Design, tie into a chignon and secure with pins.' The Fix Design will give the hair a sheen rather than a high shine.
