Amongst a sea of sleek knots and shiny ponytails, hair with exaggerated height stood out. Veering from the cartoonish at Jeremy Scott where hair stylist Eugene Souleiman created stylised ponytails with serious bounce that stood at right angles from the head, to the savage and animalistic at Unique and Vivienne Westwood where textured and teased hair erupted into wild clouds about heads. At Issa and Karl Lagerfeld it seemed fright night was in the air as OTT quiffs misted with glossy shine took centre stage. At Rochas Souleiman used cans of hairspray and pintail combs to tease models’ crowns to create exaggerated beehives that sat frothily on top of heads and at Chanel , First Lady hair was taken to new extremes with a soft halo of backcombed hair framing faces.
