It's a well known fact that New York Fashion Week provides the perfect opportunity for the fashion elite and designers to experiment with new styles, fabrics, make-up and hair.

So, it comes as no surprise that Kendall Jenner has taken the opportunity to debut a new haircut at NYFW this week.

Yesterday, the 21-year-old model debuted a shorter, above-the-shoulder bob as she closed the La Perla Fall/Winter 2017 runway show, months after she first went for the lob last September.

During the show, the Victoria's Secret model showed off her freshly chopped bob with a centre parting, floral hair clips and a burgundy lip.

The reality star gave fans a hint that she would be debuting a new look at NYFW on Wednesday when celebrity hair stylist Jen Atkin teased a video of Jenner at her hair salon and later posted a Snapchat video of Jenner shedding inches of her iconic black hair.

The model's latest hairstyle comes weeks after Darren Ambrose – former British Hairdresser of the Year – revealed the 'Modern Bob' would be the haircut of the season.

In an exclusive interview with ELLE, Ambrose revealed: 'The bob never goes out of fashion but we'll see a different line in the bob – rather than a classic cut we'll see shorter back and longer sides or a more pageboy look, with soft layered texture to enhance the movement of the hair cut.'

We'll be right back, we're just off to book a hair appointment.
