At 13 years-old Millie Bobby Brown is all kind of goals - career goals, fashion goals, friendship goals (with Drake, obviously) and, hair goals.

She is one of Time's 30 Most Influential Teens, alongside the likes of Kaia Gerber and Yara Shahidi, so it's unsurprising that the young actress (and producer) has inspired women around the world.

And, on Saturday, the English part-time rapper took to Twitter to talk all things bald-headed.

Prior to the filming of Stranger Things, Brown shaved her head for her role as Eleven.

She wrote on her page that she misses her shaved head, explaining, 'shaving your head is so empowering. You don't need hair to be beautiful. You are beautiful with or without. I learnt that too x'

Alongside a time-lapsed video of the dramatic haircut she wrote, 'The day I shaved my head was the most empowering moment of my whole life. The last strand of hair cut off was the moment my whole face was on show and I couldn't hide behind my hair like I used to. As I looked in the mirror I realised I had one job to do. Inspire.'

And inspire she did, since her responses were full of women and girls alike sharing photos of their own bald head, many of whom say they did it because of Brown.

With a frustrating emphasis on smooth, long hair, it's wonderful seeing women challenge this beauty ideal.
