The hair at always pushes the boundaries. This time round, backstage hair guru Guido took inspiration from Bijork’s ‘do to create this faux-hawk.
After spotting my backstage post on Instagram, Beauty Director Sophie emailed me saying I must #TrialATrend this one. So here it is…
The only product I used on my hair was Redken Wind Blown texturiser spray, to give it some grit to hold the style. Next, I worked my way in sections to create four tight, scruffy buns and fastened them in place with an elastic and a pin.
Verdict: Fun to do, but in reality I look like a reject from a budget rock video. It looked especially out of place paired with my flowery pink and grey jumpsuit.
But it wasn’t all bad. When I took out the buns my hair had a really nice wave to it; something I’d spend 20 minutes trying to create with tongs. So I’ll be doing this style again after all - just not outside of the house.
