The Concept: If you like a yoga class filled with panpipes and hippie-dippy chanting, Fat Buddha Yoga is not for you. The super-cool DJ and yoga junkie Jessica Skye launched the class in April 2013 to make yoga more accessible, edgy and fun. Popping up at cool locations like Dalston Roof Park, The Queen of Hoxton’s rooftop teepee and the Google campus, Jessica down-dogs to her own tailor-made mixes. We tried it as part of a NIKE We Own the Night pop up on Shoreditch House rooftop. Forget freaky-deaky wind chimes and expect a mix of club lighting, candles, disco balls, great beats, a little sweat and a heap load of zen that lasts all day.

What You Need: Mats are provided so comfortable kit is all that’s required.

Difficulty Rating: The sessions are open level dynamic Vinyasa Flow and suitable for any ability from yoga virgins to hardcore yogis.

Location: Google Campus, The Book Club, The Hoxton Basment, The Black & White Building, The Proud Archivist, South Place Hotel, Dalston Roof Park and The Queen of Hoxton (for summer rooftop sessions).

Cost: Prices range from £7 to £10 (one of the most affordable in London)
