If, like us, you're a slightly crazed Game Of Thrones and X-Men fanatic then Sophie Turner will already be well on your radar. If not, then a) where have you been? and b) you need to be filled in immediately.

Once a young13-year-old actress who bagged the role of Sansa Stark in Game Of Thrones, Turner's since hit super stardom. The actress has only moved onto bigger and better things, namely playing the impressively powerful Jean Grey in X-Men, securing her fashion credentials with a spot in Louis Vuitton's AW17 campaign, and landing her first beauty gig as the new Global Ambassador for Wella Professionals.

And that's all in between dating a Jonas brother, attending every event on the fashun calendar and hanging out with real life BFF, and on screen sister, Maisie Williams.

Phew.

We caught up with the coolest (and busiest) woman in Hollywood to talk real life super powers, matching tattoos with Maisie, and the redhead secret she's been keeping from everyone...

We heard a rumour that you're a natural blonde...

'I am! I had to dye my hair red for Game Of Thrones because Sansa's character in the book has auburn hair and it's pretty integral to who she is as a person. It was kind of daunting but kind of exciting as well.'

Was it weird having such a dramatic transformation so young?

'It was a big shock, especially for a thirteen year old, but it was cool. When I go back to my natural hair it's exciting to separate myself from the characters that I've played. If my hair is blonde it means Game of Thrones is over, and X-Men is over, and I feel 12 years old all over again.'

Superhero movies are notorious for their training regimes. Was X-Men pretty intense?

Oh yeah, absolutely. A couple of years ago, before I had to start working out for X-Men, my diet was horrendous. Now I pretty much eat healthily just because I don't really have a tolerance for unhealthy food anymore - I feel so really groggy after I eat it. I'm into eating healthily and eating the right proportions, working out whenever I can. And I know a lot about food now, what's good for you, what's not. I rarely have a cheat day but, I mean, I love sausages. Like, I eat sausage all the time. Obviously it's preferably chicken sausage because [it's healthier] but if I can get away with eating pork sausage I will. Love love love sausage! Tell the world!

In X-Men you have the power of telekinesis, what super power would you have in real life?

'I'd probably have the power to be able to choose whatever superpower I want that day. Or the superpower to make as much money as possible doing the least amount of work. Joking! Teleportation would be nice, or the power to flex your fingers and have spaghetti come out of them!'

Both your major roles have been powerful redheads, are there any red-haired icons you'd still like to play?

'Let me think. If I had the chance to play Prince Harry... just kidding! I think the only thing I want to do now is dress as Jessica Rabbit for Halloween.'

You've gone blonde to red and then back again, how is your hair not falling out?

'I use this product called Wellaplex - it's really useful when dying my hair for role or just in life. You need something like that otherwise you hair will fall out.'

So you've got hair covered, what about make-up?

'I don't wear a lot of make-up but I have a lot of make-up. I find a lot of inspiration from Instagram - I really like to find looks that would work on me. I take a lot of pictures to my make-up artist and say, 'Can we do something like this?', and then they create a whole new look for me inspired by that. I love putting together moments like that, beauty moments.'

What's the weirdest thing you've seen on Instagram?

'I saw that feather eyebrow thing but I don't even have enough hair on my eyebrows to be able to do that! Like, that's just insane. I'm all down for having nice eyebrows, brushing them up a bit, make them look bushier, but doing that feather thing where you split it down the middle? I mean that's kinda crazy.'

Top tip for looking fresh on the red carpet?

'I have really bad circles under my eyes so I always put on these 24 carat gold snail gel eye patches. They're not actually snails! I leave them for 20 minutes, take them off and it brightens my eyes completely. It's amazing, I always, always use them.'

Apparently you've got matching tattoos with Maisie Williams?

'We do! We always said that we wanted them so we got the date 07.08.09 on our arms because that's the date that both of us found out we'd got our roles in Game Of Thrones. So when we had a day off from filming in Belfast we just went to a tattoo place and got it done.'

Any plans for more?

'You know, I would love more but it's really difficult to cover up tattoos for roles so I'd have to be pretty selective about what I got and where I got it! Angelina Jolie can kind of afford to do that - everyone wants her so they're willing to cover her tattoos up. I'm not quite there yet...'
