Snoxin
What is it? Snoxin is the latest product to launch from Indeed (the company behind Nano Blur). It’s packed with peptides such as Matrixyl (which increases the production of collagen), hyaluronic acid and SYN-AKE (to reduce muscle contractions that cause lines), the results are meant to mimic those of Botox. And boy does it work.
Why do you need it? Within as little as a week, one team member had noticed such improvement that two more followed suit by slathering Snoxin on twice daily. Crow’s feet and forehead lines quickly take on a softer, less noticeable appearance. Expect a sell-out.

Proactiv
What is it? The No1 anti-blemish system in the US, this 3-step regime was created by dermatologists Katie Roden MD and Kathy Fields MD. It counts Elle Macpherson, Britney Spears, Alicia Keys and now, the new face of the brand, Katy Perry among its fans. And finally, it’s launching here today.
Why do you need it? Having been formulated by dermatologists it’s a great place to start if you are suffering with acne, before seeking out things like antibiotics and stronger topical creams through your GP. The cleanser contains salicylic acid to break down the comodones (the source of spots). Next, the toner containing witch hazel, glycolic acid and salicylic acid gently lifts away dead skin cells that can block pores. Last, the lotion contains squalane (found naturally in sebum) to make your skin ‘think’ it has enough oil on the surface preventing it releasing more – too much sebum can cause spots.
The hero product: To get results you need to use all three products together. All three products are oil-free and you should notice an improvement in just a few weeks.
A 60-day supply costs £39.99 and is exclusive to Boots and Boots.com

Radical
What is it? Liz Edlich created this line of products for herself, her family and friends. One had rosacea and all of them – living in sun-drenched Malibu - had concerns about accelerated ageing. The products all contain a proprietary blend of powerful antioxidants sourced from resveratrol, acai, grapeseed, pomegranate (among others) as well as several vitamins and minerals.
Why do you need it? The result showed smoother, clearer, plumper complexions, so staggeringly so that Liz wanted to launch her own range. The very same products are now sold in Barneys and launching into Harrods over here from March 4. Radical works hard and fast to visibly improve your complexion, but won’t exacerbate sensitive skins suffering with conditions like rosacea and acne. The antioxidant levels in the products are much higher than those found in well-known, leading, skincare brands. Really impressive.
The hero product: The creamy Hydrating Cleanser, £22, Peptide Infused Antioxidant Serum, £105 and Anti-Ageing Restorative Moisturiser, £85, are the best products to start with. They are pricey, but if you spare the money they really are worth the investment.

The Harley Medical Group
What is it? This range is really rather clever - all the products have been formulated for people post treatment (laser, injectibles, microdermabrasion) which explains the unusual addition of Aloe Vera gel in the small line-up (to cool lasered skin), but they work really well for everyone, everyday.
Why do you need it? Along with a Gentle Cleanser, Serum and Moisturiser there are more unusual products that focus on correcting particular skin issues. Such as the Ultra Anti-Bac Cream, £29 an anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory cream that helps prevent spots and the overproduction of sebum, and Advanced Lightening Cream, £49 with mulberry, vitamin C and E that works on brightening the skin and reducing melanin production.
The hero product: The Replenishing Exfoliator, £35, a two-step treatmentcontaining Vitamin C and lactic acid sloughs away dead skin cells leaving your complexion brighter. It is a great standalone product that you can include in any skincare regime you may already follow to give dull, lacklustre skin a well earned boost.

AS10
What is it? For over four years AmeriSciences® and NASA have worked together to create a supplement so powerful it can be used by astronauts in space where their bodies are put under huge stress. The result is AS10 and okay, this may be a food supplement (that looks suspiciously like wine) rather than slather-it-on-skincare but the scientists noticed the ‘side-effects of this supplement’ was an improvement in complexion and when the data comes from the scientists at NASA you can’t really ignore it!
Why do you need it? Containing powerful antioxidants Cupuaçu (a new super fruit from Brazil, know there as a ‘pharmacy in a fruit’), acai, acerola, prickly pear and yumberry – rich in vitamins and minerals; vegetables like spinach and broccoli, among other ingredients, this anti-ageing drink can help improve your skin’s health. Scientists found that drinking 60mls (4 tablespoons) of AS10 twice per day saw an improvement in UV spots (reduced by 30%), redness (reduced by 45%) and wrinkles (by 17%). It’s also been found that it helps your body metabolise vitamins and minerals from food better too, meaning it’s good for you inside and out.
