Prepped, polished and perfect skin was the make-up artist mantra that rang out at almost every show this season. At Prada make-up artist Pat McGrath showcased faultless portraiture skin; gleaming, creamy and embossed with delicate shine highlights down the bridge of the nose, cupid’s bow and cheekbones. At Emilio Pucci and Versace ‘groomed’, ‘fresh’ and ‘healthy’ seemed to be the buzzwords as faces were sculpted with mineral powders, highlighted with pearl hits and given a glow with beautifully blended bronze and gold shades. Lucia Pica, make-up artist at House of Holland , said ‘it’s refined, polished and super lush’. Base was kept sheer and minimal, added simply to hide redness and even out tone.
