A hot trend for Spring/summer 09 is super-dewy skin - the MAC artists call it hyper-luminous and it’s all about creating the look of humid, height-of-summer days. To perfect the look, highlight the usual areas - brow bone, cupid's bow and cheek bones - but also add hints of highlighter down the centre of your nose and forehead (a trick Terry Barber, MAC's head make-up artist, learnt from Grace Jones). ‘A spritz of Fix+, £10.28, gives a straight-from-the shower feeling to the complexion,’ says Georgina Graham, MAC make-up artist, which is perfect for this look, while MAC's Cream Colour Base in Pearl, £11.74, is ideal for adding sheen to particular areas. Even eyelids have gone hi-shine, ‘a wash of clear gloss over the lids instantly makes the eye feel modern,’ says Charlotte Tilbury.
