If, like me, you spend a hefty chunk of your morning applying a full face of make-up, you'll know all too well the struggles of dabbing on your foundation with an overused beauty blender.
It becomes discolored, hardened from the bottom, and on the verge of ripping in half from (expensive!) soaked up product.
You reach for a foundation brush you've kept safely tucked away in your drawer, 'just in case,' (thou shalt not throw away make-up), but the finish is never, EVER the same.
So, you proceed with that increasingly gross beauty blender until it quite literally tears apart, you're reduced to tears, and once again, forced to purchase a new one.
Darn. It.
But, just when you thought you'd be in this cycle of suffering for life, a revolutionary new tool – the Evie Blender – has arrived, and it's almost too good to be true.
First hoorah: It's made from silicone rather than foam, meaning it won't stain or absorb any product, and you can wash off any bits left with water or a make-up wipe. You can finally use the same sponge for your concealer and not worry about the two colours mixing.
Second hoorah: It has a textured surface, so the 'airbrush' finish it promises is more likely to be achievable, compared to other foundation applicators.
Third hoorah: The pointy shape will allow you to reach areas of your face a flat brush or sponge makes near impossible, such as under the eyes or the sides of your nose.
As for the best part? It apparently lasts for up to a year. Can you just imagine how much money you'll be saving, to spend on more important things, like another new eyeshadow palette?
