We caught up with model, avid reader, trampoline enthusiast (more on that later) and face of Dior Poison Girl perfume, Camille Rowe, to discuss everything from her last meal (a great choice btw) to French pharmacy skincare and everything in between - Drake included.

'When I was a kid I didn't have a clue…

...about fragrance. I used to wear the sweetest, gnarliest things that smelt like candy. That said, I've always burned incense – a real hippie situation - and have forever been drawn to patchouli, musk, woodsy scents and rose.'

'Now, I mostly wear perfume…

...to go out, out. I want my scent to give me a bit of sass, sexiness and confidence. Dior Poison Girl does that – it makes me want to go out and have a good time.'

'Even though I'm naturally an early riser…

...and don't need an alarm clock, I always wake up with puffy skin. Sometimes I apply eye cream to my entire face to counteract it. Seriously.'

'I heard somewhere that Paul Newman…

...used to dip his head into a sink full of ice cubes to wake up his skin. I've tried it and it actually works. I also like to put a little bit of pink lipstick on the crease of my nose to make it look like I've just been in the sun.'

'The best beauty tip I've ever been given…

...is to not pluck my eyebrows.'

'I have super sensitive skin…

...so French pharmacy brands are my go-to. I always choose anything hydrating or soothing and love La Roche Posay. If I have a breakout, Darphin Aromatic Purifying Balm always does the trick.'

'I don't use many hair products…

...but I love Bumble and Bumble Tonic Lotion. It gives my puffy, just-washed hair a weighty texture.'

'If I'm not working…

...I just braid my hair and keep it that way until I have another job. I'm gross like that.'

'My last meal on earth…

...would have to be a hachis parmentier – like the French version of a shepherd's pie - with key lime pie or lemon tart for dessert.'

'One of my favourite restaurants in Paris...

...is this tiny place called Le Verre Volé. They only have a few tables and serve three fresh dishes a night. With an amazing wine bar!'

'If I could be invisible for a day…

...I'd go into the White House and punch President Trump.'

'My party trick has to be…

...an Irish Goodbye. As in, ducking out early without anyone noticing.'

'One of the coolest things I've done in my career so far…

...has to be creating the dance-off videos for the new Dior Poison Girl campaign. I absolutely love dancing and got to work with 12 professionals and the incredible choreographer, Holly Blakey. In modeling you rarely get the opportunity to learn a new skill for a project and I love a challenge.'

'When I was growing up…

...I wanted to own a coffeehouse theatre. Now, my dream is to open a rare bookstore in LA that has a community element. I'd want it to be a very cosy, homely environment that brings community together and invites conversations and discussions.'

'I'm currently reading…

...a non-fiction about the history of the porn industry in the 70s called The Other Hollywood. It's pretty fascinating stuff.'

'The best thing I've read this year…

...would have to be Italian writer, Elena Ferrante's 4-part series, The Neapolitan Novels. They're gorgeous, coming of age stories about girls growing up in Italy in the 50s.'

'Some of my all-time favourite books…

...are Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov, Watermelon Sugar by Richard Brautigan and practically anything by Richard Brodhagen. I could go on and on.'

'I'm not a poetry snob and really love…

...contemporary poems. I'm obsessed with Maggie Nelson's work.'

'I'm so old school with my…

...music tastes. My favourite genre is 1970's Nigerian psychedelic music. I usually hate anything in the charts but I have literally just found out what Drake sounds like and I'm obsessed. I've downloaded his entire album and have been listening on repeat.'

'Three words that best describe my fitness philosophy…

...are regular, fun and uplifting. I go for hikes and do Hatha yoga most mornings to make me feel sane. I recently I went on a 3am jetlagged Amazon shop and bought a trampoline, which I'm now on constantly. It's apparently good for the lymphatic system.'
