White eyeliner is one of those beauty products you'll see and like on Instagram, but won't try in real life. Leave it to Willow Smith to change that.
The 17-year-old musician debuted the look at the Dior Spring/Summer 2018 Haute Couture show on January 22. It was even more fawn-worthy because it was applied "upside-down," as in, the bottom of her eyes were lined instead of the top lids. It looked fresh, unexpected, and made my go-to black cat eye feel woefully boring.
Just look at this perfection:
Her makeup was done by Carole Colombani, who described the look as a 'white sharp futuristic under-liner.' She thankfully passed along product details: Smith's waterline and lower lash line were drawn over with Diorshow Khol #009 in White Khol. Colombani "sealed" the liner by finishing with the Diorskin Nude Air Loose Powder. Then, she made the white appear even more stark by applying Diorshow Blackout Mascara only to the upper lashes.
Smith truly worked the lewk, and every photograph of showed pure joy. I mean, is there any other attitude to have with a beauty moment this fun?
BRB, trying this real quick. Side note: Have I just discovered the most creative distraction for dark under eye circles yet?
