1 Braided Top Knots

Braids are going nowhere next year, but they are being reinvented as we incorporate them into other styles. To keep it modern, think less ballerina-bride and more edgy-mermaid.

2 Charcoal Is THE New Beauty Ingredient

It might seem strange, but charcoal is being feted as the wonder beauty product for, well, almost anything. It works like a little magnet for toxins, attaching itself to dirt and oil so they are washed away rather than absorbed by your skin. 9 Rosehip Oil

Rosehip oil is being hailed as the new coconut oil, for its amazing anti-ageing properties. It contains Vitamin A and C which stimulate collagen production and has antioxidants which the oil helps to penetrate deep within the epidermis. Rosehip oil also helps reduce scarring and age spots, and is a great moisturiser for blemish prone skin. Trilogy's rosehip oil is £19.50 for 20ml, from Look Fantastic.

Balayage is going nowhere, but to update the look we recommend ashier tones. It transforms brassier hair into a sleek and modern finish. This look requires a lot of bleaching, so best to get it done at the hairdressers and to follow up with a nourishing treatment plan.
