Reporting backstage from New York Fashion Week, day 2.

My highlight was: Seeing one Kendal (Diane - make up) transform the other Kendall (Jenner - model/celebrity) into a 'goul' for . 'I'm using grey Nars eyeshadow to contour the cheeks'.

I talked: 'Rusty eyelids' with Val Garland at (three points for spotting the trademark Val-isms here). This was the same palette later used at by Tom Pechaux to create an entirely different look.

I loved: The Peter Lindbergh photo reference for the look at Misha Nonoo where the girls STYLED THEIR OWN HAIR with the new TRESemme Perfectly Undone range. Yes you heard me.

I ate: Geometrically perfect wholemeal waffles. Followed by an enormous burrito from Chipotle. Do as the Amercians do I say...

I froze: Again. Central Park looked lovely though. According to various cabbies tomorrow is set to be the coldest NYC day for twenty years. What the hell to wear?

The inspiration for the hair at Wang was: I couldn't tell you to be honest, impossible to get near enough to Guido to hear. Something about 'nocturnal' and 'oily'. The man is a celebrity in his own right. I'll ask him again tomorrow when there are fewer dictaphones in my path.

I wore: Roksanda top, Zara bag, Asos jeans, lifesaving UGG boots.
