Day 3 backstage at London Fashion Week

Make-up look of the day: Val Garland's flash of miniature sequins across lids at Temperley, painstakingly applied (with the help of Blu-Tack) and taken straight from Temperley's kit box.

I adored: The uber-distracting bags and heels backstage at Sophia Webster. And...

I double adored: Print dressing gowns supplied for each model to cuddle up in during hair and make-up.

#FirstLook product: TONI&GUY Hair Meet Wardrobe Sky High Volume Dry Shampoo, as used on Matthew Williamson's Seventies Woodstock-inspired girls.

My highlight: When Jessica Stam whispered "wow, this is tight" about her Jonathan Saunders high-shine knotted bun, flicked through her backstage phone snaps with me and decided she much preferred the smiley ones.

I ate: The amazingly branded Showspace spread at Topshop Unique. Takeaway salads and mini quiches never looked so good.

I wore: Leopard, khaki and  skirt.
