Day 4 backstage at London Fashion Week

It's the penultimate day of London Fashion Week - aka Mega Monday - with a 7.30am coffee-fuelled backstage call time and 7pm finish brushing past Kendall Jenner at Giles.

Hair look of the day: Imperfect plaits at Giles  - schoolgirl meets goth, all wrapped up with a designer bow.

Makeup look of the day: Burberry's tri-texture look for the Patchwork, Pattern & Prints catwalk - cashmere skin, matte lip and iridescent eye.

I couldn't believe it: When hair chameleon Edie Campbell told me she had her mullet newly dyed blonde (from black at NYFW) the day before Burberry.

#FirstLook product: Bumble and Bumble's new Surf Infusion spray, debuted on Erdem's modern day Hitchcock heroines. Think cult Surf Spray meets serum.

What I wore: Maison Margiela coat and mono heels - while pretending to be Kasia in the Peter Pilotto model line-up...

What I ate: Too many Crosstown baked goods at Christopher Kane. Baby 1/4 size doughnuts don't count, right?

I bagged: A stylist on speed-dial. Backstage hair favourite Anthony Turner text me the incredible Peter Pilotto final look from the test.

I could: Practically cartwheel in Antonio Berardi's backstage space. SO big!

'Til tomorrow, the day 5 finale...
