Warpaint: Alexander McQueen and Make-Up

30th April - 7th August

The restrospective of his work, Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty is still attracting hoardes of visitors to the V&A, but tonight sees the preview of Warpaint: Alexander McQueen & Make Up. Since his career began in 1996 McQueen catwalk shows have been appluaded for their subversive, sometimes uncomfortable but always stunningly beautiful hair and make up looks.

From the 30th April till the 7th August 2015 The Fashion Space Gallery at the London College of Fashion will be exhibiting these looks with an insight into how his most trusted hair and make up teams worked with him to create them. These include Peter Phillips, Sharon Dowsett and Val Garland.

There will even be an opportunity for visitors to 'try on' some of the looks via a specially created app, as well as a studio space that will host masterclasses, talks and demonstrations. Entry is free.
