We go to Moschino, we expect some level of Jeremy Scott kook. Yes, at s/s 2016 there were wigs - not your average show choice - but there was also classicism, and it came in the form of an oe to the 1990's super-super models.

Speaking with makeup artist Tom Pecheux I learnt that Jeremy wanted to surprise us, precisely because we all assume the above, so he went all out beauty. Channelling the big 4 (Linda Evangelista, Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford and Naomi Campbell), Tom layered on everything he could get his hands on; Perfect skin, glowing skin, contoured skin, healthily flushed skin, eye contouring, eye shadowing, eyelining, mascara, perfect brows, you name it, it was on there. This was a time when beauty was all about being beautiful, and the Moschino girls (Bella Hadid and Stella Maxwell included) were the perfect canvas.

The hair went even more specialised with stylist Paul Hanlon referencing the obvious one - Linda - in that awesome, boyish choppy crop that was so iconic at the time. He wanted the wigs to match the models' own hair colour wherever possible, which meant they all looked pretty much incredible. I loved the classic-but-quirky (in its unexpectedness) contrast to the statement fashion collection. The whole look was defniitely FRESH.
