The man responsible for the arches of everyone from Jourdan Dunn, Joan Smalls and Ashley Graham, to Karlie Kloss, Kim Kardashian and Gabrielle Union, when it comes to eyebrows Sir John knows his stuff.

But is there really one dreamy unicorn eyebrow shape that can make all of us mere mortals look like Yoncé? According to Sir John - it's a yes.

Speaking to Byrdie, the celeb make-up artist revealed that the best way to approach your eyebrows is (slowly and with caution? Oh wait, that's bears...) to steer clear of anything too dramatic, like extreme arches or seriously thin regret-filled noughties brows.

Instead, stick with what he refers to as 'the universal shape' aka a straight brow that strategically frames your eye shape.

How to nail the look? Sir John advises doing feathery sideways sweeping movements with your favourite eyebrow product, tapering the strokes slightly towards the outer corner of your eye.
