As if lifting the lid on a whole hoard of brand new MAC products wasn't enough (hello, Retro Matte Metallic Lipcolour), backstage Fashion Week make-up artist Dominic Skinner let us in on yet another major beauty secret - and this one is going to completely revolutionise the way you apply liquid eyeliner.

Taking to Instagram, uber-talented MUA Dominic - who has painted the faces of models at Tommy Hilfiger, Mary Katrantzou and Derek Lam to name but a few shows this month - shared a snap of his rather eclectic cotton bud collection and drew our attention to the savviest one of all - the Too Cool For School Dinoplatz Magic Wand.

We know what you're thinking: it's just a cotton bud, right? Wrong. This isn't just any old cotton bud - it's actually the answer to all of your liquid eyeliner, eye shadow mascara and even lipstick woes.

So how does it work?

It's pretty simple, really. All you need to do is to twist the top and the dry cotton tip is then soaked with make-up remover which is rather cleverly housed in the foolproof plastic tube, so you can correct wonky wings and unsightly smudges in a matter of seconds.

In other words, it's genius, especially if you always find yourself faffing around with cotton pads and drenching yourself in micellar water in a bid to clean up those pesky liquid eyeliner mistakes, or, like us, you're partial to doing your make-up on the go.

And we aren't alone because it seems make-up maestro Dominic himself is just as impressed with the savvy Korean invention as we are:

'The most amazing find in #KTown in #NewYork,' he wrote to his followers. 'I have these in my set bag for last min #Meltdown!!'

It isn't just an amazing feline flick-perfecting tool, though. You can use the dry end to buff away the mascara that always seems to imprint itself onto your eyelids mid layer, and when wet, it's amazing at blurring and removing lip liner if you've gone a little overboard - because that's a trend the 90s can keep, thanks.

The best part? They aren't exclusive to the USA, as you can snap them up on Amazon and Selfridges for a mere £7 and they're also available on online K-Beauty hub YesStyle - if you trust yourself not to buy the whole entire website, that is.
