2017's Most Popular Halloween Make-Up Looks To Keep You Ahead Of The Creepy Crowd

From cute deers to cobwebs, these are the most popular and totally terrifying (ok not the deer) Halloween make-up looks for 2017.

When it comes to Halloween, it's safe to say we are not cool kids - we're over achievers and proud.

Because we all know that the best bit about the American import is 100% the excuse to spend far too long painstakingly curating your outfit and painting on the most intricate face paint. We don't care if it's not nonchalant or chill, we're obsessed. Let's just say if there was an award for best costume, we'd give it to ourselves. Sexy cats need not apply.

So to keep ahead of the Halloween trends (yes, that's a thing - hello Stranger Things ouija board fairy lights) we've tracked down 2017's five hottest make-up looks courtesy of Pinterest.

Enjoy! (or don't...)

1. Cobweb Eyes

Always a Halloween classic, cobweb eye make-up is back on top for 2017. The best bit? All you need is your trusty liquid eyeliner.

So we're not entirely sure how this qualifies as a Halloween make-up look so much but we'll go with it. If it's good enough for Desigual, it's good enough for us.

4. Beetlejuice

Recreate the iconic green hair, sunken eyes and monochrome striped suit combo and you've got a Halloween make-up success on your hands.

5. Galaxy Make-Up

If you're scared of the infinite empty void that is space, then sure galaxy make-up totally counts as terrifying. If not, it just looks totally beaut. Win, win.
