They have the same sheer coverage and impressive skincare benefits of a BB, but boast the added benefit of colour correction, which means they're the ultimate weapon against an uneven complexion peppered with blemishes, acne scars, redness, sallowness, pigmentation and dullness.
In other words, they're a fast-track to flawless, selfie-ready skin without having to do very much at all - and that means we're totally into them.

Space NK - £38
Don't let the white formula put you off, because it really cleverly adapts to your skin tone. When you apply it (we find that it's easier to use our fingers), tiny beads of pigment burst and flood the skin to hide uneven bits, cancel out redness and blanket pallid tones from plain view. A light layer before foundation more or less triples the staying power, making it ten times more flawless and less likely pill or go cakey, but it's just as impressive on its own. Hello, glow.
It Cosmetics - £30
This is so worth ditching the foundation for - trust us. A single pump is enough to cover everything from pigmentation to raging red spots (without looking or feeling mask-like), hydrate sans any oiliness and leave skin wondrously dewy. The shade range is diverse and the added SPF50 protection is the icing on the cake. We'll take two more tubes, please.
Boots - £29
This is the closest thing to a soft focus lens for your face, and even though it's slightly heavier than the brand's infamous BB, it feels like you're wearing absolutely nothing at all. It works wonders to tuck away dark spots caused by too much sun exposure and to diffuse those pesky red blotches that tend to crop up around your nose and mouth. Plus, the shade spectrum ranges from Fair to Dark.
