26 Glitter Make-Up Looks To Sparkle From Dusk 'Til Dawn
Such shine. Very sparkle.
If you're not into glitter then we're just not sure you can sit with us... Ok fine you can, but you have to at least love all things sparkly, festive and OTT...
When the weather turns cold and the sun sets pre-4pm, surely the natural response is to go out and turn yourself into a human disco ball? No? Well, we're up for trying it anyway.
'Like magpies we all have a tendency to collect shiny things, these things just make us happy and feel good. This is why I think glitter will always be in the drawer and ready for any season,' says celebrity make-up artist and self-confessed glitter lover Jo Baker.
Need a refresher on all things sparkly? Luckily for us, Baker shared her expertise on how to get your glitter to stick around from dusk till dawn. 'Prep and prime is key; using a eyeshadow primer on your lids will help the glitter stay put,' says Jo.
'Products like Lemon Head that come in an easily spreadable gel formula mean you don't have to worry about glitter mess. Just scoop it up and apply where you want it - it couldn’t be easier.'
If, like us, your glitter obsession is getting out of hand and you wish all your make-up added that extra bit of shine, then these are the beauty looks for you. Because glitter isn't just for festivals, it's for adults all year round. Just try and make it eco-friendly glitter, please?
