We know that our personal history in perfume shapes our tastes as an adult, but we'll never forget our first loves. From Britney's 'Curious' to the iconic Tommy Girl, our first forays into the world of perfume were more often than not a little dubious. Don't even get us started on the endless stream of Impulse body sprays amassing in our bathroom cabinets.
For the lucky few, timeless scents from classic fragrance houses like Chanel and Dior formed our first scent memories. Take Group Beauty Director Katy Young whose sixth form experiences were defined by wafts of Chanel Allure. Or Group Fashion Director Avril Mair for whom Dior Poison brought a sophisticated sense of luxury to her small town in Scotland.
For others, high street heroes from The Body Shop and a seemingly never ending collection of every colour Charlie body spray narrated our freshers weeks, end of school discos and graduation ceremonies.
